Thank you for taking some time out of your busy day to stop by. In 1973 I was born into a Christian home and was saved at the age of 8. As a young boy I knew the Lord was calling me to preach, but did not surrender to the Lord until my teenage years.
Starting a church was not a part of our plans when we first entered the ministry 20 years ago, however it was in the last five years that the Lord has laid in on my heart to return to my hometown to start a church. The town of Wolcott has been without a Baptist Church for 30+ years, we are excited that God called us to bring a Bible Believing Baptist Church back to the town of Wolcott.

Church opening in fall of 2016

As with any church plant, we are in need of many items besides financial support. Many items are needs like, Hymnals, chairs, sound equipment, and many other things needed for a church to operate. Would you please pray with us that the Lord will supply these needs.

A Few Great Bible Verses

The Bible is still relevant for today

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
Galations 2:20

"To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD." Psalms 40:1-3

“And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.”
1 Chronicles 28:20

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

“ Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Proverbs 4:5-7

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God." James 1:19,20

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,"
I Peter 1:3
